Sharing Climate Solutions From Southern Europe

Local communities across southern Europe are facing the effects of climate change together. While the impact of climate challenges like floods, wildfires… can differ from region to region, many of the solutions to these risks can be shared.
Projects
REVOLVE is the communication partner for numerous projects under the EU’s HORIZON Europe, LIFE, and Interreg funding schemes, including the following projects focusing on climate adaptation.
Towards Climate-Neutral and Resilient CitiesAT LAST supports smaller European cities to activate Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAP). The project focuses on bringing different sectors together and assisting local governments in planning, financing, and carrying out their strategies to establish climate-neutral and resilient cities.
MED-IREN combines nature-inspired solutions with engineering practices for a nature-based approach to safeguard communities from climate threats. By protecting key critical infrastructures from flooding, wildfires, heatwaves, coastal erosion and other climate hazards, MED-IREN ensures the delivery of key services across the region.
Regions4Climate applies real climate-resilient innovations created by and for people, demonstrating a socially-just transition to climate resilience. Based on cross-sectoral roadmaps developed together with regional stakeholders, Regions4Climate implements innovations combining socio-cultural, technological, digital, business, governance, and environmental solutions to enhance regional climate resilience.
RESIST works to strengthen regional climate adaptation and test solutions that address floods, droughts, heatwaves, wildfires, and soil erosion. RESIST promotes the transfer of innovative, market-ready solutions for climate challenges, supporting over 100 adaptation solutions with coaching, business guidance, and access to regional markets across Europe.
MountResilience strengthens the resilience of European mountain communities and regions by developing and scaling flexible, nature-based climate adaptation strategies. The project accelerates climate-resilient transformation in ten key regions, integrating technological and social innovations with nature-based approaches.
